We are looking for a brilliant and experienced Cloud Engineer for the GCP team.

Job Requirements:
1) Create, optimize, and operate secure enterprise cloud environment (both infrastructure and platform)

2) Working directly with Google Professional Services to help Google on-board clients onto GCP

3) Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions

4) Develop scripts to fully automate platform provisioning and configuration

5) Recommend and use of native cloud platform services to meet technology and resiliency requirements

6) Drive Identity and access and configuration management, and monitoring strategy for the cloud platform

7) Establish and implement monitoring and management infrastructure for both availability and performance management

8) Design and implement data protection options, including HA and BCP protection

9) Establish and develop best practice to gain operational efficiencies

10) Training and mentoring juniors, while leading them on daily activities

11) Working closely with client team

Technical Skill Requirements:

You must have the following skills in order to apply.

1) Google Cloud certification (Professional Cloud Developer is preferred)

2) 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting GCP environments, including IaaS and PaaS

3) Team/work management skills

4) Hands on experience using the GCP Command Center

5) Knowledge of at least one other cloud hosting solution in addition to GCP (e.g. AWS or Azure).

6) Google Cloud Foundation Toolkit

7) Implementing Policy as Code using Inspec, Forseti, and Config Validator

8) Git workflow (branching, pull requests, etc.)

9) Hands on experience with CI/CD workflow and DevOps automation (preferable using Terraform scripts)

10) Experience in Shell scripting or Python or Ruby is a definite plus

Optional Skill Requirements:

1) Demonstrable experience creating, deploying, and/or migrating enterprise workloads to cloud

2) Hands-on experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet

3) Experience designing and supporting enterprise core services as well as cloud deployments

4) Experience using DevOps tools in a cloud environment, such as Ansible, Artifactory, Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Maven, and SonarQube etc

5)Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery planning experience, a plus

Academic Requirements:

Not much. If you can fulfill the aforementioned skill requirements, we don’t care about the academic backgrounds. Your skills matter. Certificates and CGPA are secondary.

But if you have a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in CS / CSC / CSE / Software Engineering, it’s a plus of course.

All we need from you is a super-hungry learning habit and a geeky-techie spirit.

If you have a strong portfolio of complex applications/software/tools that you worked on, that would be terrific.

Experience Requirements:
5+ years.
Monthly Salary:
BDT. 1,00,000 or above – depending on your years of full-time professional experience.
